Hi, I'm Jan Jones. Welcome to my website.

I am, first and foremost, a writer of romance. I believe that everybody, no matter how stressful their life, is entitled to at least one happy ending.

I write romantic comedy (because I think people need to laugh out loud once in a while), Regencies, Young Adult SF & fantasy, poetry, short stories for women's magazines and stories for children.

NEW ! Fair Deception

To tie in with this month's publication of Fair Deception, (a Newmarket Regency), Jan is going to be out and about around the area: Thursday 6th November, 10.30am - 11.30am : Talk to the Top Timers at Newmarket Library Wednesday 12th November, 7pm - 8.30pm : Talk at Haverhill Library in association with the National Year of Reading Friday 14th November, 3.30pm - 5.30pm : Booksigning at Cheveley Community Association Autumn Fair Saturday 15th November, 10am - 12noon : Booksigning, chat and nibbles at Newmarket Library Everyone welcome!

I am a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association and owe a huge debt of thanks to them for their support and encouragement. Membership is open to published and unpublished writers of romance. I have found them the loveliest, friendliest, most generous people in the world.
